The proper form of Church burial for a baptized Catholic is the Mass of Christian Burial, not a service in the funeral home. Viewings in Church, both evening or morning, are not permitted. Family tributes or Eulogies ar not permitted in Church; these are given at either the funeral home, cemetery or luncheon.
